Mother’s Day

14 March                     

Free garden entry to all mothers.

Horse drawn carriage rides in The Royal Landscape on Mothering Sunday. Starting and finishing outside The Savill Building, on Obelisk Lawn, beside the Obelisk.

Easter

3 - 5 April                  

A brand new family treasure trail around The Royal Landscape.

The Savill Garden Specialist Plant Fair

8 May                          

Spring Plant Fair to be held in The Savill Garden car park from 10am – 5pm.  Free entry as the fair is held in The Savill Garden car park.* Click here for details.

Spring Garden Week

17 - 23 May                 

Including horse drawn carriage rides through The Royal Landscape, a guided walk led by a Head Gardener and a NAFAS floral display in The Savill Building from a local NAFAS group.

Father’s Day

20 June

Celebration of the Rose

A week of exciting events to mark the opening of the contemporary new Rose Garden in The Savill Garden.

21 - 27 June

Land art organic sculpture exhibition throughout The Savill Garden.

NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies) flower arranging demonstrations on 22 and 24 June. 

Floral displays in The Savill Building from a local NAFAS group.

Opera Gala evening on Friday 25 June.

Award winning Alder Valley brass band will be playing traditional songs in the Summer Gardens from 11am-4pm on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 June.

Sunday barbeque on The Lawns, The Savill Garden.

Art Week

19 - 25 July               

Artistic workshops and creative children's activities.

Open Air Theatre

19 - 21 August

Performed by The Chapterhouse theatre company on The Lawns. 

19 August - A Midsummer Night's Dream

20 August - Much Ado About Nothing

21 August - Pride and Prejudice

Pumpkin Week

25 - 29 October  

There will be a pumpkin growing competition, a pumpkin recipe competition for all ages, together with a wide range of exotic pumpkins for sale in the ‘Pumpkin Shop’ selling gourds, pumpkins and other pumpkin related items. Also there will be free pumpkin painting for children from 28-31 October in The Savill Building Gallery.

Crafts for Christmas Craft Fair

1 - 24 December

Christmas activities for all the family.
